Decree respecting security guards : an essential pillar that must be modernized, not abolished.<\/a><\/h2>
Recent news has reminded us that, at a time when Quebec needs more security \u2013 not less \u2013 the idea of abolishing the Decree respecting security guards would be a major step backward and would directly threaten the rights of the thousands of agents who work every day to ensure our collective safety.\n\nThis decree is not a simple administrative framework: it guarantees a minimum standard for the thousands of agents who protect our communities daily. Wages, hours, premiums, leave \u2013 these are conditions negotiated collectively and applied across the entire sector to ensure stability, expertise, and fairness.<\/div>\t\t
